As a seasoned themed entertainment designer who has spent his entire career working, designing and installing major theme park attractions around the world, my experience has covered every aspect of the theme park industry from operations to set design to prop installation. My beginning as a Disney cast member led to my first professional position at Imagineering as a show set designer. Notably I’ve worked on Cars Land, Pirates of the Caribbean at Shanghai Disneyland, Mario Kart for Universal Studios Japan and the EPCOT expansion. JDWiersma Productions was founded in 2023 and allows me to take on multiple clients and ventures for immersive entertainment.
